Today was one of those days..
I wish I were in Jakarta…I miss my hometown so much lately.
My late grandma always made this dessert for me. She usually made sweet mung beans porridge/pudding and black glutinous rice porridge/pudding and we ate it by mixing both pudding together with coconut milk sauce.
It tastes really yummy and nutritious too 🙂
It was super easy to make and I used this recipe but without soaked it overnight because it was just a spontaneous idea I had this afternoon. Thus I only soaked it for about 2 hours, and had to cook it for more than 2 hours (sigh) to get the rice a bit softer.
